VVMPYRE Praising this record is almost too easy. The dark melodies, the heavy drums, the heavy bass, and the distinct personality throughout. While "Love Kills" is desperate for a vocal mix, that's not to say that track or the rest of this collection is any less than fantastic! One of 2018's highlights and certainly recommended Favorite track: Psychosexuality.

Jake C. A gritty, eerie record with fantastic harmonic flourishes that echo the energy and flair of vintage John Harrison and Claudio Simonetti without delving into pastiche territory. A superb array of sounds backed with some killer drums and a general minor-key mentality throughout. A compelling little synthwave record with a perfectly creeping personality all its own. Favorite track: Le Coq Rouge.

Coprolalia / Acid Gambit Dark and mysterious, like that shadowy tunnel in a horror movie where you shouldn't go, but you just can't stop yourself. Favorite track: Misdemeanor.

A good album. Escalator of Life is the stand out track, and the only one to feature vocals, which oddly remind me of Oingo Boingo in a way. I could see it in a movie. I absolutely adore it. Any time this album gets remotely cinematic, STH really shines. As a whole, The Underground is very slow jammish at times but in a heavy way. Static Kiss was my other favorite.
